WE PLAN TO CONVERT OUR
TEMPORARY HOME INTO A
PERMANENT PAVILION
Made from three shipping containers, our home at Applemore College has made a huge difference to the club over the last five years. But it was only ever a temporary solution.
The new pavilion will offer the growing community of users a significant and permanent improvement, converting the storage unit into home and away changing rooms, which will be essential to the growing number of teams coming through the club. By adding a pitched roof, the classroom area can open out into the central area, in order to accommodate 11-a-side team numbers, as well as large numbers of adults for managers’ and parents’ meetings. Our kitchenette and kiosk will be given more space and vastly improved. And a new kit room and versatile storage area will be built.
A BIRD’S-EYE VIEW
OF THE NEW PAVILION
Utilising the skills and expertise of volunteers at the club, as well as professional experts, we have developed a robust and versatile layout for the site.
Building on top of the existing containers, we make the most of the solid structure that we have but re-engineer it to work for the club longer term, in a more presentable manner that everyone at the club can be proud of. These plans have been checked and approved by building control.

WHAT KIND OF IMPACT WILL THIS HAVE?
A HUGE NUMBER OF
FUNCTIONAL BENEFITS
The development will provide our members with:
SUPPORTING A PATTERN OF
GROWTH
The numbers at the club have grown steadily over the last eight years, since the move to Applemore and the use of their state-of-the-art 3G artificial playing pitch.
That growth is predicted to climb, with population increases in the area, a consistent influx at the younger age groups from our boys’ and girls’ free soccer schools, and now multiple pathways into men’s and women’s football. The changing rooms are key for this, but the pavilion as a whole will serve a huge number of people.
